Early Passion and Education

Born in Pensacola, Florida, and raised in Western New York, Bill found his calling behind the camera during high school in Kenmore, a suburb of Buffalo. This spark led him to the esteemed Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, California, where he earned his BA degree in 1978.

Charting a Distinguished Career

In 1984, Bill’s career took off in San Francisco. His evocative work quickly gained traction among top advertising agencies, earning him numerous awards. A move to Atlanta in 2002 brought classic and exotic cars into focus, culminating in the founding of V12 Enterprises in 2013—a defining step that centered on producing expressive automotive imagery.

Acclaim and Exhibitions

Bill’s photography has been showcased nationally and internationally, most notably as a featured artist for the Smithsonian Magazine’s social media takeover. He also exhibited at the “Legends of Speed” event at the Phoenix Art Museum in 2019, with his work immortalized in the exhibition’s coffee table book. Additional accolades include contributing to “Epic Drama,” a publication for the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum, highlighting his prowess in curating and leading creative teams.
