Artist Statement

In my artistic journey, I’ve always been mesmerized by the way light can transform the world around us. Through my “Painting with Light” technique, I harness this ethereal force to create art that captures moments of wonder and sparks the imagination. Each stroke of illumination reveals hidden layers of detail and emotion—whether I’m shaping the timeless silhouette of a vintage automobile or tracing the delicate contours of a vineyard through the seasons.

My fascination with light began in the realm of classic cars, where subtle highlights and shadows can evoke rich stories of heritage and innovation. By meticulously choreographing exposure, color, and composition, I strive to transcend traditional photography. Now, with VineScapes, I’ve expanded that same illuminating approach to vineyards—another world in which light, time, and artistry converge. This evolution feels natural, as vines have their own stories to tell: the cycle of budding, flourishing, and harvest echoes the ever-present metamorphosis I capture in my automotive work.
